Corporal Cross is a graduate of Morgan State University. During his collegiate years, he worked with troubled youth in the KUUMBA program where he met his wife, a Baltimore City school teacher. After observing the impact of teenage pregnancy, crime and drugs on the community, he enrolled in the police academy. He began writing plays and music that taught life lessons five years ago and has already wrote a musical that addressed teenage pregnancy.
